- Tegenungan Waterfall: Tegenungan Waterfall is a great attraction for nature lovers staying in Ubud or have neighbouring Sukawati among their sightseeing itineraries. The waterfall is halfway between Ubud and Bali’s provincial capital of Denpasar and is considered the closest natural attraction of its kind that you can reach within a half-hour drive southeast from Ubud central.
You can go down to the vast pebbly base and enjoy a dip in the plunge pool, but this is not advised after heavy downpours, due to the risk of flash floods. There are restaurants here that serve great local dishes such as the signature Balinese-style crispy fried duck and which serve as good spots to hang out before or after heading down to Tegenungan Waterfall. - Tibumana Waterfall: Tibumana Waterfall is a beautiful hidden paradise and it is definitely one of Bali’s Best Kept Secrets. This picture-perfect waterfall is a fantastic place to spend the day exploring the surrounding rain forests and swimming in the natural rock pools.
- Tukad Cepung Waterfall: Tukad Cepung Waterfall was the most unique and magical one we visited. It’s becoming a hotspot amongst tourists, as well a very popular Instagram location.
The walk to get down to Tukad Cepung was straight forward and easy enough. Although, unlike most Bali waterfalls, this one you had to wade through a knee-high river and over a few rocks to get there.You can swim in the waterfall and get pretty close without getting too wet from the spray, so get your cameras ready
